- 1 cup calamansi juice Fresh squeezed is best, but bottled can be used in a pinch.
- 1 to 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 6 cup water
Wash the calamansi and cut each in half. You'll need about 40-50 depending on the size. Place a mesh strainer over a glass and squeeze the fruit until all the juice is removed.
Add water and sugar to taste. You can also use honey, agave nectar, or any other sweetener you like. The amount of water and sugar depends on how strong and sweet you want your juice to be. A good ratio is about 3 cups of water and half a cup of sugar for 20 calamansi fruit.
Stir well and serve over ice. You can also refrigerate the juice for later or freeze it into popsicles for a frozen treat.
